Yes, you read that right; Rome has a pyramid \u2013 the Pyramid of Cestius.\nBuilt around 12 BC, it is the tomb of Caius Cestius, a member of\nthe Epulones religious corporation. Fabricius\nBridge<\/span><\/p><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

When done touring the most popular monuments of Rome, take a riverside walk and marvel at the many beautiful bridges that cross the Tiber. The oldest amongst them is the Fabricius Bridge. Built in the age of Caesar in\n62 BC, the bridge was named after the road maintainer for that year,\nLucius Fabricius. The bridge is one of the oldest in all of Europe and Rome\u2019s best it preserved arch-bridge, a testimony to Roman engineering.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rome has a beautiful, little known garden dedicated to orange trees. But love for the citrus fruit is not the only reason to head up there. You will also be rewarded with a sight of St. Peter\u2019s Basilica and a panoramic view of Rome because the park stands at the top of one of the city\u2019s seven hills, the Aventine Hill. The park is near the famous \u201cMouth of Truth\u201d and the Circus Maximus.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The marvel is a must see if\nyou are on your visit to Rome. Located just a few hundred meters from the\nOrange Garden, this sight is also on the Aventine Hill. The keyhole is carved into the door of the Knights of\nMalta\u2019s headquarters. But it is no ordinary keyhole. When you look through it\nand you\u2019ll discover a garden and beyond it, perfectly framed by the well-manicured\ntrees, the dome of Saint Peter\u2019s Basilica \u2013 it is one of the most magical views\nin the city, so do not forget to take your camera along.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
