Moses: Basilica di San Pietro in Vincoli<\/span><\/p><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Head to the church of San Pietro in Vincoli\nadjacent to the Colosseum and soak in one of the most enduring works of art by\nMichelangelo, an awe-inspiring marble statue of Moses. It is celebrated for its\ninnate sense of dynamism \u2013 the reserved energy of this horned sculpture, even\nin a seated posture, is admirable.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apparently, Moses is a tiny fragment of an\nambitious structure that was to include 20 statues.
